Project Goblin
A downloadable game
Welcome to Project Goblin's project page!
What's this?
Project Goblin is a 3D action adventure game. Inspired by classics such as The Legend of Zelda or Dragon's Dogma, Project Goblin will take you on an adventure through a fantasy world full of dungeons to explore, puzzles to solve and enemies to fight.
Feel free to check my twitter for the latest updates on the game!
You can also check out the video below to get a feel of how the combat plays:
Main features
A 3D world for you to explore: a semi-open 3D world composed of a central hub and many areas with non-linear exploration, shortcuts to open, secrets to uncover and a lot of things to find. The ability to jump, grab and climb ledges enables a lot of verticality while exploring.
Action combat: inspired by Dragon's Dogma, the combat is hack and slash with no evasion nor i-frames. Attack, block, parry, use special skills and even items such as bombs or a magic bow. Crowd control is very important: you'll have to mind your positioning at all times, for the enemies will all come at you at the same time, and use special skills to keep them at bay. Break their armor with heavy attacks, throw them away with a shield bash or slay them with a flurry of sword attacks.
Using and crafting items: During your adventure you'll find all kinds of items. Curatives of all kinds, like potions to heal you or special ointments to buff you for a short time, tools like flash bombs or holy water to turn the tide of battle in your favour, or materials to combine and create brand new items out of them. Be careful! When using a curative you'll trigger either a "drink" or "eat" animation: there's no "menu healing spam" here!
State of development
Project Goblin is currently in active development. All the features shown and talked about in this page have already been implemented, development is focused on creating content (levels, enemies, etc) and a demo should be made available by summer 2026.
